Download

The latest version of Fusion News is 3.9.5, and is available in two packages. The full download is required for new installations. To upgrade an existing installation you should use the upgrade package.

SVN Download

Fusion News uses a version control system called Subversion (SVN) to manage and control changes to it, which is available to the public to see and use. Below are instructions on how to obtain the most up-to-date revision of Fusion News:

  1. Download and install a program which allows you to use SVN. We recommend Tortoise SVN.
  2. Create a new directory where you want the Fusion News revision to be downloaded to.
  3. Checkout the Fusion News code using https://fnews.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/fnews/trunk as the repository URL.
  4. And that's it. You can now use the latest Fusion News revision. Please note that versions obtained from the SVN repository are NOT supported.
