What is Fusion News?
Fusion News is a news publishing system which will allow you to easily and effortlessly publish news onto your website. Unlike the majority of other similar software which require you to build your website around the software, Fusion News is designed to be used with an existing website. This is achieved by requiring you to only copy and paste small block of code into your website, which is automatically generated by Fusion News. This code will then display the news on your website!
Delay of v3.9.3
Posted by Blackshadow on 3 August 2008.
If any of you have been coming up with what I've said around the forums, I said that Fusion News 3.9.3 would be released before the end of July. Unfortunately, a last minute bug I found prevented me from doing this - on the good side, I've fixed the bug now and will be packaging/releasing 3.9.3 within the next few days :)
Bug Tracker
Posted by Blackshadow on 30 June 2008.
I've just finished adding a Bug Tracker to the forums which will make it much easier for you (and for us) to track the progress of work on Fusion News! The Bug Tracker can be found at the top-right hand corner, next to the log in/out link and members link, etc. So if you have any bugs which need fixing in Fusion News, report it there ;)
Another Update
Posted by Blackshadow on 28 June 2008.
Yes, it's been too long since there was any news on where we're at. I'm slowly getting back into fixing things, and hopefully should have something (i.e. version 3.9.3) before the end of July (at least I very much hope so).
Another thing I was hoping to create, perhaps released later on, is a documentation for the code behind Fusion News so that people will find it easier to make changes to it if they feel the need to. As it is, the code is a mess if you don't already know where everything is. This will also be useful internally for us. To help me make this documentation, could you please post any thoughts on what should be included in the documentation in this topic - I have a rough idea on what I want to include; but just in case I miss anything out which might be useful ;)
Apologies

As a lot of you have probably noticed, I've been keeping fairly quiet here for the past month and a bit. I've been caught up in my own little projects and basically I've just neglected the script, and I'm sorry for that.
Unfortunately, I have exams coming up in the next few weeks which will last about a month so I won't be able to be much more active then I currently am now. On the plus side, I've replied to most of the help topics now on the forums. If I haven't replied to your topic and still require help, just add a bump reply so I know you still need help :)
